Title:
HEAT SHIELD ELEMENT, COMBUSTION CHAMBER AND GAS TURBINE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2004068035
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to a heat shield element (26), with a longitudinal axis (43) and a transverse axis (45). The heat shield element (26) comprises a wall (47) with a hot side (35), having a hot side surface (55) in contact with a hot medium (M) and a cold side opposite the hot side (35). The wall (47) has a first wall section (47A) and a second wall section (47B) adjacent to the first wall section (47A) along the longitudinal axis (43). The hot side surface (55) comprises a surface region (57A, 57B), at least in the first wall section (47A), with a curved surface contour along the longitudinal axis (43) and the transverse axis (45). A form reinforcement is thus achieved for the heat shield element (26) which has favourable vibration properties. The invention further relates to a combustion chamber (4) clad with said heat shield elements and a gas turbine (1) with a combustion chamber (4).
