Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a heat shielding and noise reducing material for a vehicle that is capable of maintaining moldability with heat shielding performance, is lightweight, and has excellent noise absorbing performance and noise shielding performance. A heat shielding and noise reducing material 1 for a vehicle obtained by integrally joining a skin layer 2 made of an aluminum sheet that is embossed and has protrusion parts 21 protruding to a front surface side and recessed parts 22 recessed to a rear surface side provided alternately in longitudinal and lateral directions and a base material layer 3 made of a glass fiber and a binder resin on the rear surface side of the skin layer 3, wherein the skin layer 2 is provided with non-circular ventilation holes 4 at tapered parts 23 and 24 of at least one of the protrusion parts 21 and the recessed parts 22. The heat shielding and noise reducing material has heat shielding performance and noise reducing performance and has excellent moldability.
