Title:
HEAT-SHRINKABLE POLYESTER FILM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/034704
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a heat-shrinkable polyester film which has high mechanical strength in a width direction that is perpendicular to the main shrinking direction and high tensile fracture elongation in the film width direction after being subjected to an aging treatment for a long time in a high-temperature environment, and can be produced using substantially no amorphous PET raw material, and can also be produced from only homo-PET. A heat-shrinkable polyester film, which is made from a polyester resin, wherein the polyester resin contains ethylene terephthalate as the main component and contains a monomer component that can serve as an amorphous component in an amount of 0 mol% or more and less than 1 mol% relative to the total amount of all of polyester resin components, and wherein each of the shrinkage factors by hot blast in the length direction at 90˚C and 140˚C, the shrinkage factor by hot blast in the width direction at 140˚C and the fracture elongation in the width direction after being aged at 60˚C for 672 hours of the film is adjusted to a value falling within a specified range.
