Title:
HEAT-SOUND CONVERTER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/195209
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This heat-sound converter (1) is designed to convert heat to sound waves using a thermoacoustic phenomenon. The heat-sound converter (1) comprises a heater (2), a cooler (3), and a heat accumulator (4). Heat transfer parts (24), (34) for partitioning sound wave passages (21), (31) into plurality are provided in the inner circumferential sides of the respective outer circumferences (23), (33) of the heater (2) and the cooler (3). A heat transfer wall part (43) for conducting heat transfer with the heat transfer parts (24), (34) is formed at a position in the heat accumulator (4) that faces the heat transfer parts (24), (34) in a cross section perpendicular to an axial direction (L) that runs along the forming direction of an intermediate sound wave passage (41). The heat transfer wall part (43) has a greater thickness than the thickness of a cell wall (44) and is formed in the state of closing up a portion of the intermediate sound wave passage (41).
