Abstract:
This heat source system comprises: a plurality of heat source devices each having a refrigerant circuit including a water heat exchanger; a water supplying header pipe through which water flowing in from the plurality of water heat exchangers is joined and supplied to a load; a water returning header pipe through which water flowing in from the load is divided to the plurality of water heat exchangers; a plurality of pumps which feed water to the plurality of water heat exchangers; bypass piping which connects the water supplying header pipe and the water returning header pipe; a bypass valve provided to the bypass piping; a differential pressure gauge which measures the water-pressure difference between the pressure of water being supplied to the load and the pressure of water returning from the load; and a control device which controls the plurality of heat source devices and the plurality of pumps, wherein the control device determines, according to a required amount of heat and an amount of heat generated by a plurality of the refrigerant circuits, the number of heat source devices to be operated among the plurality of heat source devices, determines whether or not the operating frequency of a pump connected to the operating heat source device is the minimum frequency, and controls either the operating frequency of the pump or the opening degree of the bypass valve according to the result of determination so that the water-pressure difference falls within a target range.
