Abstract:
A heater to be used in an atomizer, the atomizer being equipped with a reservoir for storing an aerosol-generating liquid and a liquid transport member for transporting the aerosol-generating liquid stored in the reservoir. The heater, which includes a first surface and a second surface located on the opposite side of the first surface, comprises: a planer and liquid-impermeable base material; a connection area which is formed on the first surface and to which the liquid transport member is connected; an atomization area which is formed as an area adjacent to the connection area on the first surface and not covered by the liquid transport member, and in which the aerosol-generating liquid transported from the liquid transport member to the connection area wet-spreads; and a heating element located on the second surface at the position corresponding to the back side of the atomization area.
