Abstract:
A heater for microscopic observation has a heating stage comprising a transparent conductive film sandwiched in between two transparent glass plates and is provided with a means for keeping the conductive film at a constant temperature by applying a current to the conductive film for heating. Therefore, the heater can heat the entire surface of the stage at a substantially uniform temperature, and can also heat the portion where the rays of light will pass when the heating stage is placed on a mount of a microscope.
