Abstract:
A heating device in which the time required for heating an article up to a target temperature can be reduced toenhance work efficiency. A lower die (15) and an upper die (16) moving up and down relative to the lower die (15) by a contact means (24) are provided with heat supply means (17) each formed of an assembly of heat supply members (18). The temperature of the heat supply means (17) is raised to above a target temperature of an article (1) to be heated by a heat quantity supplied from a power supply means as a heat source means. The heat quantity is the quantity of heat that is sufficient for the temperature of the heat supply means (17) to reach the target temperature when the heat supply means (17) comes into contact with the article (1) to bring the temperature of the article (1) to the target temperature or a temperature substantially equal to the target temperature. The article (1) is heated up to the target temperature by causing the heat supply means (17), having higher temperature than the target temperature, to be in contact with the article (1).
