Disclosed is a heating device of a toaster, the heating device comprising a frame, two side electric heating plates mounted at lateral sides of the frame, and a middle electric heating plate arranged between the two side electric heating plates, wherein a baking chamber for baking sliced bread is formed between every two adjacent electric heating plates; each of the electric heating plates comprises a base plate and a heating metal film; in each of the two side electric heating plates, only a surface, facing the baking chamber, of the base plate is bonded with the heating metal film; and in the middle electric heating plate, both the front and back sides of the base plate are bonded with the heating metal film. In this way, it can be ensured that both sides of each baking chamber have a heating metal film so as to improve the efficiency of baking sliced bread, and there is no heating metal film on a surface, facing away from the baking chamber, of the corresponding base plate so as to avoid energy consumption and loss caused by unnecessary heating. Moreover, because the electric heating plates are made by means of bonding and fixing the heating metal films to the base plates, the heating device has a nice appearance, is uniform in heating, has a stable performance, and is easy to machine and form.
