Abstract:
A heating furnace (1) is provided with: a furnace-interior space (30) for heating an object to be heated (100); an inner wall surface (40) describing the furnace-interior space, and having a first inner wall surface (41) and a second inner wall surface (42) facing one another on either side of the object to be heated (100) in the furnace-interior space (30); and heating devices (20) for heating the object to be heated (100) using a heat-radiating surface (21) for radiating heat, the heating devices being arranged on the first inner wall surface (41) and the second inner wall surface (42). The first inner wall surface (41) has a first slanted part (41a) on an upstream side in the direction of transfer (T) of the object to be heated (100), and a second slanted part (41b) on a downstream side in the transfer direction (T). The second inner wall surface (42) has a third slanted part (42a) on the upstream side in the transfer direction (T) and a fourth slanted part (42b) on the downstream side in the transfer direction (T). The heating devices (20) are arranged at a slant so that the heat-radiating surface (21) faces the center of the furnace-interior space (30). As a result, the temperature of the furnace-interior space is distributed more evenly, and a highly-energy-efficient heating furnace is provided.
