A herbicidal composition and an application thereof. The herbicidal composition comprises a herbicidal effective amount of an active ingredient A and an active ingredient B, wherein the active ingredient A is represented by formula (I), and the active ingredient B is selected from one or more of the following compounds: pyroxasulfone, acetochlor, acetochlor, butachlor, propisochlor, S-metolachlor, pendimethalin, and metribuzin. The composition can effectively prevent and remove various weeds in a corn and soybean strip intercropping field, is high in crop safety and good in selectivity, and has the characteristics of expanding a weed control spectrum, reducing an application amount, capable of achieving a synergistic effect and solving resistant weeds, and the like.
