Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a hermaphroditic self-coupling connector in the technical field of connectors, comprising two completely identical sub-connectors, wherein each sub-connector comprises: an insulating base, wherein a male connecting piece and a female connecting piece are arranged on the insulating base; and a plurality of contact pieces mounted on the insulating base and used for supplying power and/or transmitting signals. When one of the sub-connectors rotates by a certain angle around a set rotation axis, the male connecting piece of the sub-connector is in mutual insertion connection with the corresponding female connecting piece of the other sub-connector, and the contact piece of the sub-connector is electrically connected to the corresponding contact piece on the other sub-connector. The present invention reduces the model and category of the connector, is simple in structure, simplifies materials, achieves self-mutual insertion, low height, and miniaturization of the connector, and improves the assembly efficiency between PCBs.
