Abstract:
A compound which inhibits the secretion and production of β-amyloid protein. It is a compound represented by the general formula (1): (wherein R1 represents an optionally substituted heterocyclic group; R2 represents an optionally substituted cyclic hydrocarbon group or optionally substituted heterocyclic group; R3 represents an optionally substituted cyclic hydrocarbon group or optionally substituted heterocyclic group; R4 represents hydrogen or C1-6 alkyl; and X represents -S-, -SO-, or -SO2-), an N-oxide thereof, an S-oxide thereof, a salt thereof, or a solvate of any of these. Also provided is a medicine containing any of these.
