A hidden clothes airing machine having a lighting function, comprising: a shell, wherein a motor assembly (11) is provided in the shell, and fixed pulleys are provided at the two sides of the shell; a hidden box (2), wherein a groove capable of accommodating a clothes airing rod (3) is formed at the bottom of the hidden box (2), and through holes through which steel wire ropes (114) pass are formed at the top of the hidden box (2); and the clothes airing rod (3), wherein each steel wire rope (114) sequentially passes through the fixed pulley and the hidden box (2) and is fixedly connected to the clothes airing rod (3), a cavity is formed in the clothes airing rod (3), a lamp strip (31) is embedded into the middle portion of the cavity, a battery assembly (21) is provided at the top in the cavity, the bottom of the cavity passes through the clothes airing rod (3), and a lampshade is embedded at the bottom of the cavity. By means of the matching configuration of the motor assembly (11), the hidden box (2), and the clothes airing rod (3), the clothes airing rod (3) is hidden in a suspended ceiling when the clothes airing rod is not working, and by providing a drying apparatus above the hidden box (2), the function of accelerating clothes drying is realized.
