Abstract:
A high-concentration aureobasidin A (R106-I) preparation in solution form excellent in peroral absorbability of R106-I. The preparation contains as the essential ingredients R106-I useful as an antimycotic, polyoxyethylene-castor oil surfactant and ethanol preferably in amounts of, respectively, 100, at least 65 and at least 30 parts by weight. The concentration of R106-I in the preparation ranges from 20 to 40 w/w %. A capsular preparation made by filling the above preparation into a hard gelatin capsule containing polyethylene glycol (PEG) is an excellent preparation free from capsule breakage and leakage of the contents.
