Abstract:
The present invention provides a high damping rubber composition characterized by containing a rubber component comprising only a butyl rubber and a natural rubber and a polyisobutylene having a viscosity average molecular weight of less than 200,000, with the content of a plasticizer being less than 5 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component. According to this high damping rubber composition, it is possible to realize high loss properties even in a high temperature region having a temperature above room temperature of approximately 40-120ºC.
