Abstract:

A sliding member according to the present invention has a surface-treated layer on a metal substrate surface, and the surface-treated layer is provided with an electrogalvanized layer 2, a chemical-conversion-treated layer 3 and a topcoat 4 layer in this order from the metal substrate side, and the chemical-conversion-treated layer contains chromium and oxygen. Also, the sliding member is characterized in that the topcoat layer contains at least one type of substance selected from a group consisting of a silica compound, an acrylic resin, a polyurethane resin, an epoxy resin, a phenol resin, and a melamine resin. In addition, a method for manufacturing the sliding member according to the present invention is characterized by being provided with a step for forming, on a surface of the chemical-conversion-treated layer 3, the topcoat layer containing at least one type of substance selected from a group consisting of a silica compound, an acrylic resin, a polyurethane resin, an epoxy resin, a phenol resin, and a melamine resin.
