Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a high-efficiency method for mapping a physical position to a logical mapping position, comprising the following steps: A. updating data at a host end; B. updating, in a mapping table, the record of the data; C. determining whether an invalid record is generated due to the update; and D. marking the invalid record in the mapping table. The data of the logical mapping position is stored in the mapping table. When the host updates the data, the mapping table records the physical position of the latest data in a flash memory, thereby being able to speed up searching.
