Abstract:
Disclosed is a high-elongation all-steel cord (100) for an engineering tire belted layer. The cord is formed by weaving and twisting three steel wire strands (10), and each steel wire strand (10) is formed by weaving and twisting three core steel wires and nine upper thread steel wires (02) in a first twisting direction with a first twisting distance D1, the upper thread steel wires being evenly distributed around the three core steel wires (01). The three steel wire strands (10) are distributed in a regular triangle and are woven and twisted in a second twisting direction with a second twisting distance to form the all-steel cord (100) having an oblate cross section. The first twisting direction is the same as the second twisting direction, and the diameter of the core steel wires (01) of the steel wire strands is equal to that of the upper thread steel wires (02) of the steel wire strands. The second twisting distance is 1.8-2.3 times of the first twisting distance.
Consisting of a large number of single steel wires with a smaller diameter, the high-elongation all-steel cord has good flexibility. The steel cord has a low load elongation of 3% or above, boasts high impact resistance, good resistance to penetration and light weight, and can satisfy the demand of tires for light weight while meeting performance requirements.
