Abstract:

A high-frequency treatment device includes: high-frequency generation means for generating a high-frequency current; an electrode device electrically connected to the high-frequency generation means and having, at its tip, an electrode for discharging a high-frequency current, the base end side of which electrode is coated by an insulation body; an insert unit for movably containing the electrode device in a predetermined direction so as to serve as a feedback side of the high-frequency current from the electrode; and liquid feed means for feeding perfusion liquid into the vicinity of the electrode via the insert unit. Thus, the root portion of the electrode exposed from the end of the insulation body is coated by a first insulation member over a predetermined range and it is possible to perform cutting, transpiration, discharge coagulation of a tissue in a perfusion liquid with less power and reduce the surgery time.
