Abstract:
Provided are: a high-pressure tank which is strong enough to withstand high pressures and with which manufacturing time is shortened and productivity is increased; and a method for manufacturing a high-pressure tank obtained by curing a fiber-reinforced resin by means of press-molding. The high-pressure tank is formed from: a tank liner; a metal layer on the outside of the tank liner; a carbon fiber layer formed by winding, around the outer periphery of the metal layer, a fiber bundle impregnated with a resin; and a reinforcing layer that is arranged outside the carbon fiber layer and includes a fiber-reinforced resin layer, wherein the high-pressure tank is obtained by curing, through press-molding, the fiber-reinforced resin which forms the reinforcing layer.
