Abstract:
A high-strength container thick plate having excellent core toughness, and a manufacturing method, relating to the technical field of steel production, and comprising the following chemical components in mass percent: C: 0.08% to 0.12%, Si: 0.10% to 0.30%, Mn: 1.10% to 1.50%, Ni: 0.50% to 0.80%, Mo: 0.08% to 0.15%, V: 0.03% to 0.06%, P≤0.006%, S≤0.002%, and the balance of Fe and inevitable impurities. The maximum thickness is up to 80 mm, the requirement of the high-strength low-temperature container plate for use at -70°Ϲ is satisfied, the KV2 values in 1/4 thickness and the core at -70°Ϲ are greater than or equal to 150 J, the yield strength is greater than or equal to 420 MPa, the tensile strength is greater than or equal to 560 MPa, and the present invention can be applied to construction of large low-temperature spherical tanks or storage tanks.
