Abstract:
Provided is a high-strength steel sheet for sour gas equipment that, without placing limitations on the maximum hardness of a surface layer portion, has a pH of 3.5 or greater, has an H2S partial pressure of 0.003-1 bar, and has excellent SSCC resistance in an environment corresponding to ISO-15156 Region 2. The high-strength steel sheet for sour gas equipment is characterized by having a component composition containing, by mass%, prescribed quantities of C, Si, Mn, P, S, N, Al, and Ca, 0.10-4.00% Ni, and one or more selected from among prescribed quantities of Cr, Mo, W, and Nb, with the remainder being composed of Fe and unavoidable impurities, and is further characterized in that the ratio HVmin/HVmax between a minimum value HVmin and a maximum value HVmax for Vickers hardness HV0.1 at 0.25 mm under the steel sheet surface is 0.77 or greater.
