Abstract:
Dsiclosed are a high strength and high toughness spheroidizing graphite cast iron at a low temperature of -40ºC and a preparation method thereof and railway locomotive parts, wherein the chemical ingredients of the spheroidizing graphite cast iron and weight percents thereof are as follows: 3.6％-3.9％ of C, 1.9％-2.1％ of Si, ＜0.2％ of Mn, ＜0.03％ of P, 0.003％-0.012％ of S, 0.35％-0.5％ of Cu, 1.1％-1.5％ of Ni, ≤0.03％ of Re, 0.025％-0.05％ of Mg, and the balance being iron and inevitable impurities.
