Abstract:
Provided is a textile which, by using a high-temperature-shrinkable polyamide composite fiber, is able to shrink by a stress that overwhelms a textile restraining force even when the textile is subjected to moist heat/dry heat while a high tension is being applied thereto in the warp direction, and which is able to exhibit sufficient crimp properties so as to have good stretch properties and exhibit an airy texture. This high-temperature-shrinkable polyamide composite fiber is a polyamide composite fiber of a laminated type or an eccentric core-sheath type comprising two types of polyamides (A) and (B) having different compositions, the high-temperature-shrinkable polyamide composite being characterized in that: the polyamide (A) contains an amorphous polyamide; the polyamide (B) is a crystalline polyamide; and the composite fiber has a heat shrinkage stress of at least 0.15 cN/dtex.
