Abstract:
Disclosed is a highly fire-resistant cable. The highly fire-resistant cable according to the present invention can exhibit fire resistance performance meeting international standards even in a high-temperature fire attributed to hydrocarbon-based compounds accounting for main components of petroleum and coal tar, wherein, in the case of a fire, a heat-shielding layer can secure sufficient adiabatic performance, allowing the insulation layer to perform the insulation function thereof for a long period of time to sustain the ability of the cable to pass electrical currents therethrough longer and can retard the spread of fire, gaining time necessary for evacuating persons or for disposing a fire with a suitable fire extinguisher. Also provided is a highly fire-resistant cable that has a reduced outer diameter and weight and retains bending performance to enhance workability as well as exhibiting a high degree of fire-resistance performance.
