Abstract:
A plated steel sheet for a fuel tank which has a chemical composition, in mass %, that C: 0.01 % or less, Si: 0.5 % or less, Mn: 0.15 to 0.5 %, P: 0.03 % or less, S: 0.02 % or less, Al: 0.1 % or less, N: 0.006 % or less, Cu: 0.5 to 2.0 %, B: 0.0002 to 0.0025 %, one or two selected from Ti: 0.01 % or more and less than 0.1 % and Nb: 0.07 % or less, and the balance: Fe and inevitable impurities, has a steel structure which comprises a ferrite single phase and has a ferrite particle diameter of 25 μm or less, and has a tensile strength of 420 MPa or more. The plated steel sheet for a fuel tank is excellent in the resistance to brittleness in the secondary working and in plating adhessiveness, and also exhibits tensile strength ≥ 420 MPa and a r value ≥ 1.6, that is, is excellent in the balance between strength and an r value.
