Abstract:
Tilting operation of a heavy weight display etc. is improved. A supporting side bracket (8) is fixed to a supporting side member (4) having a square C shape cross-section and rotatably supported by a fixture member through an installation shaft, a movable side member (5) rotating within a predetermined angle in the direction of tilt relative to a vertical line, and a hinge mechanism (6) for applying friction torque, stopping tilting rotation of the movable side member (5), to the movable side member is attached to the supporting side bracket (8). The hinge mechanism (6) has a hinge shaft (15), a plate-like friction torque applying member, and a torsion bar (16). The hinge shaft (15) penetrates through the supporting side bracket and the movable side member. The friction torque applying member is installed in the axial direction of the hinge shaft (15) and directly or indirectly superposed on the movable member (5) to apply friction torque to the movable member (5). The torsion bar (16) penetrates through the hinge shaft (15) and directly or indirectly engaged at its both end sections with the supporting side member (4) and the movable side member (5), and twisted by the tilting rotation of the movable side member (5) to urge the movable member in the direction opposite the rotating direction.
