Abstract:
Disclosed is a hip joint femoral ball head prosthesis (1), comprising: a ball head main body (2), an outer spherical surface (4), and a recessed or protruding inner cone (3). The ball head main body (2) is a hollow spherical structure which is multi-hemispherical; the outer spherical surface (4) covers a spherical surface of the ball head main body (2); the inner cone (3) is located at the center of a bottom portion of the ball head main body (2); the outer spherical surface (4) is provided with multiple pits. In the hip joint femoral ball head prosthesis (1), the outer spherical surface (4) is provided with multiple pits so as to enable joint fluids in a human body to be stored in the pits; therefore, when the hip joint femoral ball head is rotated relative to and rubbed against the acetabulum, the human body fluids stored in the pits locally form a lubricating membrane over a friction surface of the hip joint femoral ball head, thereby reducing abrasion of the friction surface of the ball head and extending lifespan of the prosthesis. A manufacturing method of the hip joint femoral ball head prosthesis (1) is further disclosed.
