Abstract:
A hitch method for hitching a vehicle to a tow truck. A vehicle is provided with a data acquisition device, an industrial control device, and a limit guide device. At least two target points are arranged at the front end of a tow truck. The hitch method comprises: a vehicle acquiring, by means of the data acquisition device, data containing target point information of a tow truck, wherein the target point information comprises point cloud data corresponding to target points (S001); calculating coordinate data corresponding to the target points according to the point cloud data corresponding to the target points, and determining the position of a hook of the tow truck (S002); calculating the pose of the tow truck according to the coordinates of a traction point of the vehicle (S003); the industrial control device planning a route for the vehicle according to the pose of the tow truck and driving the vehicle to travel to the position of the hook of the tow truck (S004); and guiding and completing the hitching of the vehicle to the tow truck by means of the limit guide device of the vehicle (S005). According to the hitch method, the operation efficiency of hitching a vehicle to a tow truck can be improved, manual intervention is reduced, automatic hitching is achieved, and the accuracy of hitching a vehicle to a tow truck can be improved.
