Abstract:
A hoarding construction comprises an array of panels (10), which are connected edge to edge by vertical edge connectors (11) to form a barrier. Foundations are provided by piles or spikes (18) driven into the ground, and the panels are seated on plates (143) and fastened to them by bolts. The structure may include covered walkways, and some panels may be provided with light sources (50) at the top, which can also include an electronic display (48), and be powered by solar panels such as (46). Each panel (10) provides a preferably generally concave display surface with or without a pediment. A range of configurations are shown.
