Abstract:
The present invention relates to a hog feeder which has a function of preventing the loss of feed, comprising: a water supply device (200); a feed supply container (100); and a feeding plate (300) installed at the lower part of the feed supply container (100), wherein the feeding plate (300) is formed with a feed supply part (302) and a water supply part (304), and the water supply part (304) slopes toward a deep place from a shallow place. Thus, in case that feed supplied from the feed supply container (100) falls into the water of the water supply part (304), the feed that fell into the water gradually gathers at the shallow place due to the shaking of the water and some of the feed reaches a dry portion which does not get wet in the water supply part, which enables a hog to easily take the feed. Since the hog may take feed which has been soaking in the water supply part of the feeding plate for a long time and is thus apt to rot quickly, the hog feeder according to the present invention prevents the loss of the feed and decreases the number of times the feed which has fallen in the water supply part of the feeding plate must be cleaned out, resulting in easy maintenance of the hog feeder.
