Abstract:
A sheave device (10) having a sheave (18) is installed on a substantially U-shaped
hanger member (6) provided at a ceiling section (1a) of a hoistway (1) of a building,
where the installation of the sheave device (10) is such that the sheave (18) is
located above the lower end of the hanger member (6). A sling wire (27) as a hoisting
wire member is passed over the sheave (18) of the sheave device (10), one end of
the sling wire (27) is connected to a hoist (31) as an object to be hoisted, the other
end is connected to a hoist (30), and a wire (32) on the hitch side of the hoist (30)
is connected to a hitch section (33) on a sidewall surface of the hoistway (1).
The hoist (30) is operated in this state to pull the sling wire (27), lifting the
hoist (31) up to the uppermost section of the hoistway (1).
