Abstract:
The present invention relates to a hoistway door separation preventing device for a lift (elevator). The mounting plate, connector plate or hanger plate of a hoistway door locking device is additionally provided with a separation preventing means in such a way that the separation preventing means can prevent bending of the connector plate and thereby prevent separation of the landing door when the connecting plate might otherwise bend due to an impact to the hoistway door.
