Abstract:
This holding device is for holding a flexible workpiece, and is characterized in that a control device sets the workpiece in a standard state stored in advance in a storage device, by holding the workpiece by first and second holding mechanisms and causing the first holding mechanism and/or the second holding mechanism to be moved in a longitudinal direction by a moving mechanism, on the basis of the length of the workpiece in a held state detected by a detection device and the length of the workpiece in the standard state.
