Abstract:
Provided are a hole position update device and a method for operating the hole position update device. A hole position update device is a hole position update device which comprises a housing including a pin coupling part for providing coupling with a pin. The hole position update device comprises: a GPS circuit for detecting a hole position on the basis of a global positioning system (GPS); a mobile communication circuit for providing connection to a sever through a mobile communication network; and a control circuit which operates in a power cut-off mode and, in response to a wakeup signal, transitions from the power cut-off mode and then reenters the power cut-off mode after updating the hole position.
