Abstract:

This hollow fiber membrane module is provided with: a hollow fiber membrane bundle; a housing that houses the hollow fiber membrane bundle, and that has an inlet through which a cleaning gas for the hollow fiber membrane bundle is introduced; and an aeration member that has a receiving face for receiving the cleaning gas introduced from the inlet, and that has, formed in the receiving face, aeration holes for diffusing the cleaning gas toward the hollow fiber membrane bundle in the housing. The aeration member includes a partition part which partitions space located below the receiving face into an inner peripheral space and an outer peripheral space which surrounds the inner peripheral space and into which the cleaning gas introduced from the inlet is introduced. The aeration holes are configured to diffuse, from the inner peripheral space toward the hollow fiber membrane bundle, at least a portion of the cleaning gas that has spread across the outer peripheral space.
