Abstract:
Disclosed is a hollow polymer particle which is composed of a shell wall having
a thickness of 5-80 nm and mainly made of a copolymer which is obtained by polymerizing
a monomer group (I) containing a radically polymerizable water-soluble monomer
(A) and a radically polymerizable water-insoluble monomer (B). Also disclosed
is a method for producing a hollow polymer particle wherein a monomer group (I)
containing a radically polymerizable water-soluble monomer (A) and a radically
polymerizable water-insoluble monomer (B) is radically polymerized in an aqueous
medium by using a water-soluble polymerization initiator.
