Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: hollow resin particles having excellent pressure resistance; a method for producing the hollow resin particles; and use of the hollow resin particles.
Hollow resin particles, each of which is configured of an outer shell part that is formed of a thermoplastic resin and a hollow part that is surrounded by the outer shell part, and which are configured such that: the thermoplastic resin is a polymer of a polymerizable component that contains 0.6-3.0% by weight of a crosslinkable monomer having 2 or more polymerizable carbon-carbon double bonds in each molecule and 97-99.4% by weight of a non-crosslinkable monomer having one polymerizable carbon-carbon double bond in each molecule; the hollow resin particles contain a foaming agent; the weight ratio of an organic compound having a vapor pressure of more than 100 kPa at 25°C in the foaming agent is 50-100% by weight; and the content ratio of the foaming agent is 3-13% by weight.
