Disclosed is a holographic display system, comprising a display device (11), a total reflection device (12) and a retroreflection device (13), wherein the display device (11) is used for displaying an image to be holographically displayed, and light emitted by the display device (11) is irradiated onto the total reflection device (12); the total reflection device (12) is used for totally reflecting the light irradiated by the display device (11) onto the retroreflection device (13); and the retroreflection device (13) is of a concave arc structure, and the retroreflection device (13) is used for changing the angle of the light so that the light reflected by the total reflection device (12) is totally retroreflected and passes through the total reflection device (12) to form a holographic virtual image. The holographic display system combines the principles of total reflection and retroreflection, so that holographic display can be realized without using holographic glass as an optical propagation medium or quadrangular-pyramid-shaped glass; a virtual image of holographic display is not limited by a display space; and the system has a simple structure and is easy to implement.
