Background of Invention

I developed the idea for Home Health Disposable Product Line when I had to provide in-home care for my mother when she was dying from cancer. I discovered there was very limited supplies and equipment on the market and no real disposables ensuring a clean and germ-tree environment. I had to use a plastic bag to shampoo/perm her hair in bed and as a potty when she could not stand to use the hard bed pan and was too irritated for the adult diaper. I feel my designs will become equal to the plastic glove for home health care givers and a valued add-on for the professionals in the nursing home, hospitals, and on the battlefield for our military. Having a sanitized disposable line of transportable supplies is a must as contamination of germs and diseases increase with world globalization and aging populations.

Brief Summary of the Invention

Home Health Disposable Product Line has seven (7) designs, the Bath Tub, Potty, Sink, Shampoo-er, Shower Mat, Air Pillows and Comforter. I invented each one with dual functions or multi-functions for the care of the ill, injured, disabled or diseased and bed-bound persons so as to offer single use, then discard, compact storage, easy transportable and sanitized to offer a more comfortable health care experience and protection from the care giver and recipient of the care.

Brief Description of the Several Views of the Drawing

Bath Tub - Home Health Disposables Bath Tub is designed to aid the ill, disabled or diseased person with sanitized protection in the bathtub. Converts to offer in-bed bath care, designed to relax to flat position. Recipient easily fits onto it then can be raised to up position.

Potty - can be used in toilet. In-chair potty. On body potty. Designed with non-irritating tape grip so that ill or diseased person can be in bed in any position using the disposable potty without spill or accident by pressing tape together as it is removed from body. The body potty can also double as container for spit-ups and/or vomiting. Disposable - discarded after use for safety and sanitation purposes.

Sink - can be used in bathroom sink. Can be used in bed for bedridden, disabled, ill or diseased person. It has a stationary bottom so it can rest securely on bed or chair. It is designed to cut the possibility of spreading conditions. Can be discarded after use.

Shampoo-er - This design is for the pleasure of bedridden, disabled or ill people to be able to have a real hair shampoo in the bed or seated in a chair without standing.

Shower Mat - To protect the shower area from bacteria and germs.

Pillow - Air - Disposable accessory used for elevating any needed part of the body, i.e., legs, etc.

Comforter - Bottom/Top throw. Designed for dual functions/bottom for bed sore or top for burns, etc. and can be discarded.

Detailed Description of the Invention

The Bath Tub, Potty, Sink is created to be used in the home bathroom for unexpected guests or friends. It can then be transported to be used in the chair or on the bed for bed-bound, ill or injured persons. It can also be used in the hospital or a nursing home in the bathroom as in the home for a refreshing full bath. The Sink is for cleaning in the bathroom or on the bed or in the chair. The Potty goes from the commode to the potty chair or on the body of the person in bed. It is also used in bed for spit ups and vomit. The Shampoo-er goes from the chair, sit-up position on the bed for the ill who want or need to have a hair shampoo while laying in the bed. It is fitted with straps that fit comfortably around the forehead resting the hair in the funnel where the head is braced onto the Air Pillow. The Air Pillow can be used to elevate the arm, legs, etc. due to burns or bed sores, broken bones or wounds. They are all created with designs to offer multi- functions for comfort then they go in to the trash, alone with the germs and bacteria, rendering better contamination control enhancing the protection of the provider and the recipient.
