Abstract:
This honeycomb structure is made of ceramic, the honeycomb structure comprising a borosilicate and silicon particles doped by a dopant. The dopant is a group 13 element or a group 15 element; the amount of dopant (A) in the silicon particles is 1×1016 to 5×1020 particles/cm3; and the silicon particle content (B) in the honeycomb structure is 30 to 80 mass%.
