Abstract:
The hopper according to the present invention is provided with a hollow body which is open at the top and bottom thereof, a first gate and a second gate which are a pair of swinging-type gates for opening and closing a bottom opening of the body, a pair of rotary shafts for rotatably supporting each of the first gate and the second gate, and a link for connecting the first gate and the second gate to each other and linking the opening and closing action of the first gate and the second gate. The first gate and the second gate are formed plane-symmetrically in a shape whereby an object is retained between the first gate and the second gate in a state in which the bottom opening is closed. The pair of rotary shafts is provided so that the rotary shafts are positioned asymmetrically about the plane where the first gate and the second gate are closed together.
