Abstract:
A horizontal compressor according to an aspect of the present disclosure comprises: a case; a high/low pressure separator which divides the inner space of the case into a high pressure chamber and a low pressure chamber; a compressor which is provided in the high pressure chamber and is formed to be operated by a motor to compress a refrigerant; a suction pipe which is provided in the case to communicate with the low pressure chamber and through which the refrigerant is suctioned; and an inner suction pipe which passes through the high/low pressure separator, is connected at one end thereof to the compressor, and communicates at the other end thereof with the low pressure chamber, so as to allow the refrigerant in the low pressure chamber to flow into the compressor. The inner suction pipe includes a connection pipe which is provided parallel to the center axis of the case and adjacent to the bottom surface of the case.
