Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a horizontal rotary compressor that can suppress separation of a vane from a piston member and can suppress agitation of lubricating oil caused by the reciprocating motion of the vane. [Solution] A horizontal rotary compressor, wherein: a first back pressure chamber 39A which is of a first compression mechanism part 30A and which introduces lubricating oil to and causes back pressure to act on a first vane 35A and a second back pressure chamber 39B which is of a second compression mechanism part 30B and which introduces lubricating oil to and causes back pressure to act on a second vane 35B are connected via a connection hole 50a formed in an intermediate partition plate 50; a lubricating oil holding part 150 has a main holding part 151, an auxiliary holding part 152 that holds the lubricating oil to be introduced into the first back pressure chamber 39A and the second back pressure chamber 39B, and a lubricating oil flow path 153 that connects the main holding part 151 and the auxiliary holding part 152; and the lubricating oil flow path 153 includes a second flow path part 153b that has a flow path cross-sectional area narrower than the flow path cross-sectional area of the auxiliary holding part 152.
