Abstract:
A horizontal scroll compressor in which, as lubricating oil passes through a decompression mechanism (42), a gas refrigerant separated from the lubricating oil is caused to flow from a mechanism accommodating compartment (34c) of a rotation-preventing mechanism into an entry opening portion (91), and the gas refrigerant that has flowed in is discharged through a discharge path (90, 130). When the uppermost area of the entry opening portion is an uppermost portion of the entry opening portion, an uppermost-positioned sliding portion among a plurality of sliding portions is an upper sliding portion, and the area of the upper sliding portion that is positioned on the lowermost side at the timing of the upper sliding portion being positioned at the lowermost area is a lowermost portion, the uppermost portion of the entry opening portion is positioned above the lowermost portion of the upper sliding portion.
