Abstract:
The present invention relates to a machining center and, more specifically, to a horizontal-type multi-spindle machining center that is installed to cut a machining object and comprises transfer operation parts of two axes (Y and Z axes) or three axes (X, Y, and Z axes) to move a ram on which main shafts (spindles) are mounted, in the vertical and longitudinal or transverse directions with respect to the machining object, wherein the number of the main shafts is plural, such as two to eight, to enable simultaneous machining of a plurality of machining objects, and cut tools fixed to the plurality of main shafts for machining object cutting are simultaneously replaced with as many tools as the number of the main shafts by an ATC, so that the tool replacement speed is increased and thus the production efficiency is improved.
