Abstract:
The present invention relates to a hot air convection belt-type drying apparatus for use in drying coal containing moisture or various agricultural products (such as peppers) and cigar leaves, et cetera, which should be exposed to minimum deformation, breakage, or damage. The present invention comprises: a supply conveyer provided with a supply hopper; an insertion conveyer for aligning and inserting an object to be dried on a drying conveyer so as to have a uniform thickness, the object being supplied by a supply conveyer; a drying housing comprising at least two drying chambers; a heat exchanger for supplying hot air to each of the drying chambers in the drying housing by using hot water that is supplied from a boiler device; a collection conveyer for removing dust which separates from the drying conveyer, wherein the drying conveyer passes through each of the drying chambers in the drying housing; and a transfer conveyer for discharging dust and the object to be dried, which is supplied by the drying conveyer and the collection conveyer. The present invention can improve drying efficiency of the object to be dried by stacking the object to be dried so as to have a uniform thickness and by passing same through a plurality of drying areas in which hot air is circulated, and can dry the object to be dried while preventing breakage or damage by minimizing external physical force that is applied to the object to be dried, thereby allowing the drying system to be utilized in a variety of fields.
