Abstract:
Provided are a hot forging die and a hot forging method with which it is possible to perform necking easily using a radial forging machine, even with materials difficult to machine that are used for turbine blades. Disclosed is a hot forging die for hot forging a rod-shaped forging material by radial forging, the hot forging die comprising a pair of halved pressing parts for sandwiching said forging material. Each halved pressing part has a substantially semicircular convex shape that is continuous so as to surround the forging material. Each halved pressing part includes a rough machining part, and a finish machining part having a convex shape with a larger radius of curvature than said rough machining part.
