Abstract:
Hot-melt adhesives are disclosed that comprise, a polymeric blend of two polymers of butene-1, A) and B), characterised by: - Polymer A) is a copolymer of non-isotactic butene-1, having a monomodal composition, a Polydispersity Index Mw/Mn not lower than 3.5, composed by butene-1 copolymerised with one or more alpha-olefin(s) selected from ethene, propene and alpha- olefins C5 to C12. Said polymer A) has a content of copolymerised comonomer(s) not lower than 20 mol %. - Polymer B) is polymeric composition of isotactic butene-1, with Polydispersity Index Mw/Mn lower than 3.5 and a bimodal composition, i.e., constituted by two butene-1 polymers, B1) and B2), being homopolymers or copolymers of butene-1 with the same other alpha-olefins mentioned for polymer A), the overall content of comonomer(s) in B) being lower than 20% by mole. Both polymers A) and B) exhibit peculiar thermal properties, like Enthalpy of Fusion, Peak Melting Temperature and Glass Transition Temperature.
